ProTools 10 and ilok advice
Hi All,
I need some advice. I work for a university and we are due to upgrade to Pro Tools 10 this summer in 2 of our music labs. I believe we will need to use ilok dongles in each machine (and keep them attached) to authorise/run the software. Each lab holds 25 iMacs running OS X 10.6.8. We already have dongle safes in the labs to hold e-Licenser dongles for Cubase so security isn’t a problem. The issue is the limited amount of USB slots, even with USB hubs, the iMacs have. Is there any way of using a network licence, or having all our licences on one ilok attached to one machine and having both labs authorising from the one dongle? Thanks in advance |

Re: ProTools 10 and ilok advice
in a word, no.
codemeter allow this functionality, even over the internet. it's very slick. as long as you're using powered usb hubs you can add more than one.
