Default Help! Extracted Audio from imported Video DV-File is longer than the Videofile

Hi,

I'm using PT 9.0.2 on a Mac Snow-Leopard System and a PT9 HD 9.0.3 on our Main Studio System also with a Mac SL:
My problem is, that the extracted Audiotrack from an imported Video does not match with the lengh of the video-file that is imported.

Even if i try everything. Our standard is 48Khz, 16 Bit but also in 44.1Khz it does not work. Everytime, the Audiofile is a bit longer than the Video-File.

At this moment, we are working on a Film-production for 350 Mini-Films (max. 1 Min. lengh each) but if i move the extracted Audio files to the Startlocation of each film, every audiofile is a bit longer than the video-file.

.....did i already said, that the audiofile is longer than the video-file???

Anyone who can helpt me with that issue? I remember that problem since years, also on previous ProTools Systems.
Did i made a mistake? Is it a bug?

I dont know if it's needed but i post my Mac-Configuration here:

Model Name: Mac Pro
Model Identifier: MacPro3,1
Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Processor Speed: 2.8 GHz
Number Of Processors: 2
Total Number Of Cores: 8
L2 Cache (per processor): 12 MB
Memory: 16 GB
Bus Speed: 1.6 GHz
Boot ROM Version: MP31.006C.B05
SMC Version (system): 1.25f4
Serial Number (system): CK8300XA1Z9
Hardware UUID: 86AE7393-E0CF-5726-90BB-F5AF0D77D5E9

Thank you very much for help.

What format are the Quicktimes you're importing? Have you tried converting them to different formats to see if that changes the problem?
