Imported video audio loops a small fragment
Ups,
replied to the thread in the wrong section (Pro Tools LE), so (sorry) here goes again: The audio import from a dv doesn't work properly here. The result is a loop of a fragment of the audio. Exporting the sound using Quicktime works perfectly. Does it work anywhere as it used to? We normally convert a *.mov to *.dv. Best, Timothy |

Re: Imported video audio loops a small fragment
Yes, this is true. It has been broken since PT 7. Pro Tools only imports the first pass of a looped audio track within a quicktime movie. You can select the audio and duplicate it easily to the proper length, but it is annoying.
