Imported video audio loops a small fragment

Ups,
replied to the thread in the wrong section (Pro Tools LE), so (sorry) here goes again:



The audio import from a dv doesn't work properly here.

The result is a loop of a fragment of the audio. Exporting the sound using Quicktime works perfectly.
Does it work anywhere as it used to?

We normally convert a *.mov to *.dv.

Yes, this is true. It has been broken since PT 7. Pro Tools only imports the first pass of a looped audio track within a quicktime movie. You can select the audio and duplicate it easily to the proper length, but it is annoying.

Have had this problem in the past.
Convert to DVCPRO, the audio problem will resolve.
