I am wondering if an HD3 Accel system can coexist in an expansion cage with the new Native PT Card.

The thought is to be able to use the HD system as per normal, and for the Native PT Card to be the front end audio for Digital Performer 7 with a 192 Interface.

Any thoughts?

I would like to do this too, and I don't have too much money,
just a studio full of inputs that I don't want to repatch,
and disgust for the 8 input coreaudio limit on Pro Tools HD.
My guess is that it won't work, but one can always dream...

Get a Mackie 1640i you get 16 in and out through firewire. I use it with Logic I also have a HD 2. It is making me use Logic more and more. I still mix with Pro Tools HD though
