Tools 8.03... Snowleopard 10.6.2..Disable spotlight or not?
I see via the setup/Optimization guide that Digi for some reason still makes very hard to find that disabling spotlight is now optional. do it, or dont?? I use logic from time to time (trying to quit) and turning off spotlight can jact things like its loop browser/sample architecture. IN my previous 10.4 partition I disabled spotlight on the audio drive only, worked well. Is that my move here?? Shal I do this in System preferences or a "spotless" type utility? Thanks!

Hi,
You must disabled spotlight, like that your drives can work more faster. If don't that, when OS X launch research on this drives they will more slower for recording tracks |

I just disable spotlight on my audio and video drives, I leave it on the system drive and my SFX library drive.
Seems to work well and sticks to digis reccomendations |
