Performance Question
Hello there - I am running PT 6.4 on an iBook 1GHz G4 768Mb RAM 5400rpm internal H/D - connected to an Mbox (1st version)
Usually rewire mode with reason 3 Can anyone with a similar set-up tell me how many audio tracks they can record ? I can generally record 2 stereo tracks before no amount of "buffer juggling" can stop the processor glitching on playback or record Can I get any better than this ? OS is 10.3.9 and the Coreaudio driver is 6.9 by the way Thanks in advance good people |

Re: Performance Question
Seriously - nobody any clue what kind of performance I should be getting with this set-up ? Not very impressed at the moment with Pro-Tools - anyone restore my faith ?

Re: Performance Question
Quote:
I get fair results,about 20/22 tracks and decent plugs,with a 1.2 g4 and the max ram with 10.3.4. |
