audition output

It seems that I can only use the analog outputs of my 192 as the audition output. I can select the digital outputs in the i/o setup page but the audition do not play out these outputs. Any ideas?

Devin,

The audition output uses Direct I/O which is currently limited to the first 8 outputs on HD systems. So at this time you will need to use the 1-8 outputs of the 192 I/O for your audition path.

Actually, I found a way around this. Goto the hardware setup page and set the 9-16 outputs to "none". Then goto the 1-8 and control click them the make go out both the analog and the digital outputs. Then goto the i/o page and route the audition output to 1-2 and you will hear the audition out both analog 1-2 and digial 1-2.
