Nope no such thing. There are regulations around making significant disclosures (i.e. significantly affect financial results). Much of the stuff that Avid could talk about about is just not significant. But even if it is you file a form 8K and let the SEC and entire world know. Yes this has to be managed, yes you need to be confident when you say stuff is going to ship it has good probability of. etc. If somebody says "we can't talk about stuff because..." and they say anything after because besides "we don't want to" or "we just have a policy not to" that's a likely sign they are either idiots or are assuming whoever they are talking to are idiots.
