Will all the free software that came with my mbox 2 pro work
Will all the free software that came with my mbox 2 pro(Ableton reasonetc) work now with my recently downloaded 10.5.3 and the protoools 7.4.2pr and the full version when it's available?

Most likely the Mbox shipped before the recent release of 7.4.2pr so you'll probably need to update the IP plug-ins. Check out this link,
