pre-buy query
I'm a neophyte planning to record up to eight tracks of acoustic guitars and bass, thinking of buying Digi 001. I was considering a hard disk recorder, but suspect that Digi 001 might be a better solution.
I have a laptop w/ Pentium III @ 600 Mhz; 128 MB RAM; 6G HD; Texas Instruments PCI 1410 CardBus Controller I can get Digi 001 w/ Kind of Loud Real Verb RTAS for $995. Should I get it? Aside from instruments, mics and material, will I need anything else to get started? I would apprefciate any input/comments. Thanks . . . |

Re: pre-buy query

they sell expansion chassis for pro tools stuff You might need to mull the details of setup through Digi tech support and magma though to ensure proper compatability. Let me know if it cuts the mustard |
