Write to All Enabled Still Not Working

the key command ( command, option, / ) is still not functioning in protools 12.4. Works when you pull down the menu item but not via the keyboard!

I'm also noticing CEADR plug in acting major wonky, this could be a 12 issue or a plug-in issue. I
ve sent an email to the CEDAR folks.

Regarding the key command issue.....Please FIX THIS AVID!!! EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING.

has anyone else noticed any other key commands not working.. would be great to compile a list so the fix gets done once and for all.

bottom line PT 12 is not gonna be part of my work flow till this gets fixed.

I'd like to point out that I have owned protools 12 for close to a year and this is the 1st I'm fiddling with it and so far so bad. very unfortunate.

I am also quite frustrated that write to all enabled is not working in PT12.4 using the keyboard. This shortcut I use 80% of the time mixing. I have gone back to PT10 in the meantime. Whats going on there at Avid? Anybody home?

killer for post... works and then doesn't work. Noticing with EQIII the LMF band won't cooperate while other bands do. Yes, it's enabled, even writes in the automation lane, just not playing back correctly after "write to all enabled".

UPDATE: Bit of a workaround I discovered (still crappy but manageable)... If I deactivate and reactive the plugin following "write to all enabled" it plays back properly.

very annoying, I also (used to) use this command A LOT

there seems to be something fishy going on here: When I manually assign that shortcut via the Apple System Keyboard Preferences, it still won't work. Also, when I manually assign a shortcut for "Fades --> Delete" it just clears the selected area in the Edit window (not only the fades).

I've tried to manually assign the key command in the apple keyboard shortcuts without success as well.


However I have an Artist mixer set up with Eucon and an MC Control with programmable buttons and the command works if you program it into the MC Unit... Still freaking annoying and I have let avid know this has been an issue for ages and they still have done nothing..

well...get this...as silly as this is and as much of a pain this has been for me and others ... in all previous versions of protools I've been using the key command : {command+option+/}in the past I've been using the{/} thats found on the numeric keypad... however in version 12 this has changed and what I've discovered is you have to use the {/} thats under the {?} key the Write to all Enabled works!! Same applies to Write to current.

I had sent avid another tech support ticket describing my issue and the tech support person said to try the / thats part of the ? key...

Go Figure!!
