IK Multimedia T-Racks CS AAX

The first time I ran the installer for T-Racks 4.2, I deselected all of the VST checkboxes - because I am only using Pro Tools (versions 10 and 11).

I left the AAX, AAX 64, and Standalone boxes checked, and then I ran the 'Restore My Gear' in Custom Shop. At that point, I only saw the Classic EQ and the Metering plugin as 'singles' that would instantiate without the T-Racks Shell.

ONLY after I went back and re-ran the installer WITH the VST checkboxes checked (all checkboxes were checked) and THEN ran the 'Restore My Gear' in Custom Shop did it work.

ALL of my purchased plugins show up as Singles in PT 11 now.

Maybe this will help out someone else....

Downloaded and installed both T-Racks and Amplitube. I can get both of them to reliably crash PT11 and 10. Once you've made changes to the plugin settings, PT will crash if you try to remove the plugin while the transport is running.

Mac OS 10.8.4, PTHD 11.0.1

I submitted a report with IK Multimedia.

Already got a reply from IK Multimedia. They must think me simple. Here's their reply:
"The work around for this issue is to stop Pro Tools before removing the plugin."

Almost like - Don't move or copy the plugin while PT is running as it "might" enable clix and pops hehe..

Well atleast they are on top of things and their emails

EDIT - Weird I didn't see ANY of the posts that indicate reporting issues to support (and the response, though that's a workaround and obviously there will be a fix coming for something of that nature so don't worry they don't think you are simple! :) ). SO disregard the following original post pre-edit, unless the Gain Reduction issue hasn't been reported as that definitely should be put in the official queue to look at:

Interesting. I had a similar problem, but a different solution. From the start I installed every option, but Custom Shop would crash every time I tried to restore my gear. I uninstalled CSR and T-Racks3 Standard, then just installed T-Racks CS and then I could restore my gear and get my singles.

I submitted a ticket to IK support on this. The gain reduction meters don't show in any implementation in PT 11HD. Avid plugs are all fine.

We'll see what they say...

I've also forwarded information about the "unchecking VST versions" issue over to some folks to see if there's a way to test this and see what's up.

This is getting odd. PT HD 11.01 works fine except for the gain reduction meter issue but when I go back to 10.3.6 I am running into 100% CPU usage and session freezing. Never had this happen prior and the only change has been the Custom shop update.
