That's cool - thanks. Do you know how they're using it? Standalone or plugin? I assume they use PT and Maschine on a single computer? Do you perhaps also know which version of PT they use?

i've been using maschine mainly as a stand alone..
It's great! I love my MPC 2000XL alot, tho the maschine is really cool too.
Ive lately been running it on windows 64 on a quadcore notebook with 8gig ram. It works fine inside PT 8.0.5 so far, tho ive only tried it a few times..
my mac book pro has 2 gig ram, dual core, and its not great with PT and maschine running together

I ended up buying Maschine, and I've installed the software on a slave Mac running VE Pro. The controller is connected to the slave via USB, and to the PPC via MIDI out. This thing is sweet, and fills the gap nicely on my palette.

I have had it for over a year. Its a great product. Its very versatile in what it can do. I use alot of virtual instruments but in almost everyone of my music production sessions I use Maschine. Get it you will love it.

NI should get auto-scroll and open-ended pattern mode for Maschine. That would be sweet.

The hidden bonus feature of NI Maschine is that it can open VST plug-ins!!!!

Both Synths and FX.

Maschine is amazing, and I can't wait to see how version 2 comes out (1.6.2 current).

The guys over at Groove3 are trying to get me some 1 on 1 time with a product specialist so I can go over the "bad planning" bits and ask all the questions people ask me.

Either way, Maschine is on my short list of favorite gear from this year.
Plus, technically I am now a NI sponsored Artist.
