002/Mbox/PT7/Logic/ sync problem, please help!

Hi Guys, here is what I am trying to do!

I have a mac with logic 8 (also LE7 if it helps) +MBOX

I have a PC with LE 7 + 002.

Here is what I want to do.

Slave logic to PT via midi, Im not too fussed about Protools -> logic, it would be nice if I could use play and stop to control PT via logic.

I have the two cards hooked up via SPDIF.

I have a midisport 2x2 midi box on the MAC.
The patching is as follows:

OUT 1 002 -> IN 1 midisport
OUT 1 Midisport -> IN 1 002

Here is what Im trying to do

MTC generator In PT to Midiout1

Then logic set to MTC sync mode and MTC sync selected in transport.

Is this the correct method?
I am unsure of why this is not working.
Please help or advise in anyway you can!
