I can't get my Mbox 2 to work with my macbook and 10.4

I tried installing hte core audio plugins for my computer but they don't work.

I had it working before, but I installed Leopard and tried to get it working there. That caused my computer to completely crap. I had to reload 10.4 and I lost all my data.

So now I am back on 10.4 and trying to get the Mbox2 to work with Garageband and ProTools and its not happy. I just plugged the Mbox in after installing LE7 and it made my computer restart.

I know the Mbox is okay because I have installed protools and used it on my windows machine, but I don't want to use windows.

If I click on the Mbox icon in System Preferences is tells me I can't run that application and to contact my software vendor for an updated version.

I have no idea what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
