Help Pro Tools will not start: error -36 while initializing

Hi,

Pro tools M powered is for some reason refusing to start (been OK in the past) on my dual 1.8 G5 Power mac, I am only getting:

error -36 while initializing an I/O error happened.

Nothing else, no other clues, I also have a Projectmix I/O (no problems in the past with it).

It just hangs for ages then that error appears, tried all the obviopus things, unplugging hardware, rebooting many times, even re-installed Pro Tools 7.3 and it just won't start!

Any suggestions appreciated.

I'm not familier with that error but that may give a good place to start looking
