Where is 12.8?
I hope this whole Dolby business can be selected off in prefs....
I don't want to imagine it using CPU cycles and to be sitting in the background, it's quite possible that I misunderstand how or where it is functioning but if we don't need it, I hope we can disable it in prefs

The rest of it, is just busses and automation that if not needed, won't cause any issues. |

Well, beyond the RMU connection there is the integrated panner and the related track settings, but those will also only be active and available when connected to an RMU, so, should be easy. |

Re: Where is 12.8?
of course. My point was that there aren't background tasks happening like there are for something like Cloud Collab.

Cloud collab runs in the background even if you never use it?

Re: Where is 12.8?
12.8 is about:
ATMOS for HD (but hardware is needed) Some NAS (Network Storage) improvements. Bug Fixes. So really nothing worth waiting 7/8months ..for a lot of us. It's indicated some plugin's that are included on the HD plan, will become standard for Vanilla, again, just giving more, and stealing from the higher tariff HD support plan users.
