AKAI MPC X not showing Plug-in Inputs on Audio Tracks

Hello,
Working for a client on Mac OS Big Sur/PT 2022.4 with MPC X software. I do not know the MPC X operations that well, but here is what I have done so far:
Had client update to the latest Firmware (2.10.1), Network MIDI Driver 1.4.4, and MPC Update 2.11.2 (had them installed in that order). In Pro Tools, I selected MTC for the AKAI MPC X in MIDI Set-Up. So I am able to launch the VI on an Instrument track and have Pro Tools drive the MPC X and monitor the Stereo Full Mix from the Instrument track. Had the client use a simple 3 track project in the MPC X. Tried to have each track appear on the MPC X Mixer page on different Faders. Could see meter activity on 3 separate MIDI tracks in the MPC X, but did not see any meter activity on the separate Main Faders in the Mix Window in the MPC X software (as I said, I do not know this software that well). Nevertheless, even after assigning these MPC X faders to Outputs 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8, in Pro Tools on Audio Tracks, the Plug-in Inputs are not accessible (grayed out). I know from many other Multi-Output VIs that the successive Plug-in outputs should show up in Pro Tools as Audio Input options. Not sure what is wrong with the MPC X in this instance. Please let me know when you have anything concrete that I should try. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a topic to take up with Akai support or on their user forum.

Can you test in another DAW?

Pro Tools on that system is working OK? You can record and playback plain audio tracks? Instantiate a VI etc.

Thanks, Darryl. All good suggestions- will check out and keep the post informed. Aside from the AKAI "User Group", I think everything will check out as per my previous troubleshooting, but I will double-check.
