Ultra wide monitors
Anyone using these ultra wide monitors with ProTools and a Mac? I was looking at the 29" LG. I figure it would be great to have the extra width for editing and the mixer. Anyone with experience with one of these?

Re: Ultra wide monitors
I have 5 monitors hooked up to my Mac Pro and one of them is a 2560 x 1080 panel that I use for my mix window. It's great, especially on feature film sessions.

Re: Ultra wide monitors
I was just looking at the new LG at 3440x1440. Looks great, especially since I found 1080 to be too little vertical real estate. 1920x1200 is what I'm used to so I didn't want 1080, and thus the new one at 1440 looks real tasty.
Here's one guy's review with some nice pictures: http://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/12...onitor-review/ |
