double notes

this is from a friend that is near genoa italy .... she only has internet once a week right now at internet cafe so i am posting for her

"Am getting a weird MIDI situation that I have to look up on digi, everything I record gets a double note that I have to delete"

she is running most recent version of PT LE 7.3 ...

anyone have this happening ???
