Default Color coding

Simple question. Is it possible for PT to automatically assign a different or new color to every new recording in a session?

Default Re: Color coding

Yes. When using playlists. No for everything else.

When I comp a vocal from playlists .01 - .04, they all have different colors. Nice. But I can't get PT to act right when I have a group of tracks in playlist view (in 8.0.3cs2 - haven't had a spare moment to put 8.0.4 on the 5 HD rigs here). I have all kinds of mishaps when I try to put a 24 channel 'tracking' group into playlist view.
