Touring band bulletin board
I was just wondering if there is a bulleting board for bands that are looking to pick up a memeber, need touring members etc...I'm a bass player. There is a local thing on Craigslist in Boston here, but I was wondering if there is a national bulletin board. Anyone?

Re: Touring band bulletin board
Personal referral is still the name of the game with hooking up with a touring band. Don't know of any nationwide service that a rock/pop/r&b band with cred would use. There is a guy I know in Nashville that places sidemen & women with country acts, but there is a fee involved.

Re: Touring band bulletin board
I just remembered this outfit, too. They've been around a long time. I was listed with them for quite a while. Most of the gigs that were listed were Holiday Inn/cruise ship/resort gigs, but every once in a great while a national act would list there. They also charge a fee.
PMR is the only referral service listed in Billboard's directory. PMR RP |
