Default Production Master Or Original Master

I'm just looking for a bit of advice as to what i should be lebeling on my audio CD.

I've Just finished recording a band the other week, and yesterday came back to finish the mixing. I've bounced the Audio down to an audio cd and have used things like panning, comrpession and EQ on individual tracks so all the regions and tracks wont be touched again they are how i would want them to be on the Final Product. However there is no overall Compression or EQ on the final stereo track. Im confused as to wether this should be lebelled as a Production Master (Green) or A Original Master (Red)

We've been told to leave overall compression and EQ off the track on purpose.

Any help would be great, Thanks.

I'm not an expert, but I would label it "PreMaster" because it is not Mastered(but is the final mixdown) or maybe "Mix final". I bet we do get an expert call on this soon

The NARAS guidelines suggest storing the mixes in a folder titled "Final Mixes". The files should be titled thus: "Song Title-MIX".

If these tracks are to go out for mastering, they should not be submitted as an audio CD. They can be delivered as a data CD with the files kept at the original sample rates and bit depths.

I agree with both albee and top jimmy. Put it as a "Premaster", and deliver it on a disc or disk, but not as a music CD. Keep all the tracks at the original sampling/resolution (no dither), and leave a little headroom with the main volume for the Mastering Engineer to do his thing.
