Error 6042
Using PT 5.1.1 with a G4 933Mhz, 3 Mix cards and 1 farm card and 3 888/24 I/O's. OK. I have been going at it film after film with no PCI bus problems. These are full features with digitized video running off a seperate SCSI drive then the audio. All has been well. Recently I upgraded to Premiere 6 and dig'ed a feature film No problems throughout the entire mix. Then a few days ago I dig'ed a 5 minute scene and through editing have come up to around 45 tracks. For some reason I can not playback for very long because of the PCI bus getting too busy (Error code -6042) I blew out the video completly and have had a little more luck. The audio only session gives me an error sometimes. I still can't get through the whole thing without it stopping. On the answerbase I followed EVERY detail in article #26515 but to no avail.
Any ideas? I really have no idea why this little five minute clip has bogged the system down so much. BTW I have not tried another session yet, I will right now. Thanks! Christopher |
