I would probably look to getting a dedicated pro tools computer, the thing is, the system sometimes is very stable, sometimes I playback the tracks and nothing, other times I'm bouncing buffer sizes back and forth, I hope the firewire does the trick...

O.k. I went over the optimization procedure again, and the system is stable on playback at the highest buffer setting. One extra thing, I cannot find the MMERefresh check box.
Plus I'm getting statements that plug ins cannot be found... one thing at a time I guess...
