Its easy for me to answer now I know what you are asking. This is not a bug but something lacking in Cubase. I can't change this as it would break PT control.

well than i can not use the feature "automation buttons follow dock track"

but in this case, as mentioned before feedback On Dock left edit for buttons like "read, write, touch, latch, latch-touch etc...don't work, the light don't sync, come on/off. Some other buttons on left edit programmed as "snap", "follow cursor" etc...their feedback works.

reported to steinberg also.

With that pref off those buttons just become ordinary softkeys. For me they work OK if I put the correct commands on them.

My feedback does work. (But I'm in Nuendo, although the EUCON adapter in both programs is the same)

Read, Write, Latch, Touch, Trim, Crossover….for non of these feedback works on my system.

If i program on the same button lets say “punch in” feedback works. So for sure its not a hardware issue.

update: when set to "automation buttons follow dock track"
if i program touch, latch, trim etc as ALT functions. they work, without feedback.

in ABFDT mode the basic, first function for buttons touch, latch, trim etc....regardless to programmed what eucon command, they don't work and activate read and write for the selected track.

Can't you just release those buttons in ABFDT so we can program them as we want? Secondary functions work...
