Help please pro tools won't open

I turned on my fire face UC and I noticed the mixer and settings didn't open as they usually do and then I tried to open protools and that wouldn't open either. So I reinstalled the driver after deleting all the files as instructed on RMEs website. And now the mixer and settings are back but protools won't open my recent sessions. It just says restoring tracks and hangs forever. I can open a new session but not older ones. I am running mac osx 10.7.4 with protools 10.2.0. What shall I do? I have never had any issues with pro tools before I don't know what is causing this.

Try trashing preferences first and then restarting PT:

Once you do that... Launch Pro Tools but hold down the "N" key until the playback engine window appears... select the correct playback engine (Fireface UE in your case). Then select open project and open the older session... See if that clears up the issues.

If the main session does not open up try opening up one of the backup session files. Then post and let us know what happens... if there are changes and if not.
