Default A/D conversion for better sound quality

Would I benefit (sound quality wise) using a high quality A/D converter for recording Digital (BFD, Omnisphere, Velvet & Co) instead of the Eleven rack?. I know i would benefit for analog recording, but what about internal digital recording.

Any clarification would be of great help cause I have a hard time understanding the signal chain process.

Thanks!

Better converters won't help anything that happens in the box(ITB). Better converters for playback might allow you to hear deeper into your mix, but don't bother unless you already have spent serious money on great monitors and room acoustics/tuning(not just gluing some foam on the walls).

I purchased the Benchmark DAC-1 last week...makes a big difference.
Now I'm wondering if there is a next step to improve my signal chain.

Thanks for the reply!
