Pro Tools will not Open a Session

It won't let me do that. It just says it's the wrong file type.

When I try to open the session, it just flashes a little box. Once, I thought I saw the edit window flash, but it was too quick.

Post a session file (no audio) to Dropbox or WeTransfer.

If one of us can open the session, it will show that it's something specific to your rig/install. In troubleshooting, we have to isolate variables as much as possible.

Ah, I see. I can open all my sessions now except that particular one.

Somehow it seems like the actual session was deleted during installing, but why would all the session info remain?

Possible that session is corrupted. Why everyone here will tell you to back up everything religiously. Corruption happens for any number of reasons so if that's what happened I could not be sure why. If all your audio files are intact you may have to recreate the session.

I had this problem yesterday and making a new session and importing session data track by track worked great. Thanks!
