Default HUI logic control, still confused

I know, there were a lot of comments on the DUC about this one, but I'm still confused.
I'm using a HUI and want to expand the faders only.
Can I connect 2 extra fader packs(xt) via the IAC bus.
I don't need the bankswitching, or other switches on the XT.Or do I really need to use the main units to make this thing working ?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">You can add up to two XTs, and bank switching will work, however the V-Pots will always display panning, as the XTs don't have the buttons to reassign them. Pro Tool's HUI personality file does not promote V-Pot assignment to all connected HUIs, but only to the one where you pressed the assignment button.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Yes, as you run the Logic Control HUI Emulation software which checks if the XSKey is present.
