Firmware for 002R - Where do I get it?

I'm connecting a Digi 002R to a 12" G4 PowerBook. I've updated the Mac OS to 10.3.1. I've updated the PTLE to 6.2.2.

When I start up PT, it says that I should update the 002R firmware to v1.11r. Where can I find this firmware? I've searched the Support section, the DUC, and the Digi website and can't find it.

This computer is not connected to the internet, so I need to download it to another Mac.

i think if you have an internet connection it will just update it at least it did for me.

The firmware is installed to your hard drive during Pro Tools installation.

The "download" is actually from your hard drive to your 002, not from the internet. The wording is an engineering term that is a bit misleading. Digi Tech Support has requested that the wording should be changed in future versions to make this a bit easier to understand.

search for the word firmware, and you'll find instructions on how to update the firmware.

A search of the Answerbase for the words 002 firmware will bring up some records that may help as well.

But if you search for "002R firmware," you get nothing, and I wasn't sure if the 002 and the 002R had the same firmware.

Thanks for the help. I assumed incorrectly about the download. I should have just tried it anyway rather than assuming that it would not work.

Oh God ... and I spent 15 minutes on the paid dial-up internet while downloading this ... And lot of time before searching for this firmware at the DIgidesign website. Of course, the term is misleading and more care should have been taken to specify the instructions
