Pro Tools and Ableton Live out of Sync issue....

I just upgraded to the newest version of Pro Tools Studio and Ableton Live Suite. Running on a nearly brand new iMac that is loaded to the max with RAM and processing power.

I'm very successfully running large PT sessions with lots of plug-ins, MIDI tracks and virtual instruments. Really loving it so far. But, I'm a big Ableton user too and that's not going so well.

In the past, using ReWire, I never had sync or latency issues. Using the new Pro Tools Audio Bridge, clock sync is not a problem but audio latency coming from Live is a problem. If I'm running one loop in Live and one loop in Pro Tools, everything is OK as long as the PT buffer size is set to 512 (increasing the buffer size to 1024 causes the audio from Live to be delayed). And when I add Live to a large PT session, playing back only one loop from Live, the audio latency is horrible, no matter what buffer size I set in Pro Tools.

I've been down this rabbit-hole extensively with Ableton, so I know all my Live settings are where they should be.

Any others out there having this issue?

Thanks for the suggestion. I did even better than that, I spoke with Ableton Support directly and they can't figure it out.
