Default Sluggish surround panner? D-Command

The external surround panner for D-Command acts rather sluggish, giving normal response for couple of seconds, then halts, then works again. Any advise what might be happening?

Actually no, did not even know this would be possible. Will try to see how this goes, but it's not the corners the tracking gets stuck, it's rather in the center area. Sort of like cable issue or something like that but I know cabling to be fine.

Could it be that some midi interfaces work better than others? Right now I have a noname (Icon http://www.icon-global.com/Midi+Inte...o_Cube+Mi3.htm) midi interface, also did not install anything for the interface or surround panner, they just worked.. but as I said, the panner is sluggish and not only when transport is steady and you test it but will write jerky automation when in write automation.
