Macbook Pro USB connection compatibility?
Any success using:
USB mouse USB data entry keyboard USB ilok on a Macbook Pro (late 2008) running PT LE 8.0 I currently have external monitor out the mini dv monitor port have a FW800 to FW400 cable to Mbox 2 Pro SIIG expresscard with FW400 audio hard drive I thought maybe there was some issues with all that USB stuff running. OR bluetooth mouse and keyboard? ps as a quick second question. what do you think about running a sample/loop hard drive off second SIIG FW400 port and leave the other audio drive for session data only? |

Re: Macbook Pro USB connection compatibility?
No issues. I dont run this yet. I am looking for other success stories before I purchase a USB mouse and USB data keyboard.
I am basically looking to use my Macbook Pro as a "desktop" when I am at home....ie external monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc. I thought I read somewhere that running these USB devices either slows PT performance or, worse, is simply not compatible. Advice? |
