Video Formats
Dear Forum
I wonder if anyone could advise me about which video formats I can expect to succesfully import and play back. I run a PT 7.3 system with an AVID (Fire Wire Fed) PAL Mojo (not the SDI type)feeding the AV input on a TV receiver. I am able to record and play back, off tape, PAL material, and have also imported and played Avid video files. With .avi files it has been a different story, however, and although some have replayed properly, some will only show in the scrub window and some do not show frames on the video track or play back monochrome and synch. shifted through the Mojo . The 7.3 guide is not especially helpful in this matter and so the experiences of others on the forum, with a set up similar to mine, would be very useful to hear. Best wishes Hugh |

Re: Video Formats
Go with Quicktime. Bounce your video to Quicktime with timecode.
