Quite regularly I work with audio voiceovers read from a PDF with page numbers. Each "page audio" needs to be separated and I use markers to separate on grid. So there might be 70 markers.

period-#-period is wonderful!!! Now all I need is a handful of "negative markers" , because page 1 is usually marker 3 after 1 and 2 are front and inside covers. Hahaha!

Earlier this year I learned about period-#-asterisk for Window Config recall. Been spending time learning and reading this forum... My work keeps getting easier and faster!!

When doing Described Video, I may have 400 to over 700 Markers based on Timecode. I just keep the Marker List open. The Markers are named for the Timecode and sorted by Time.

Something seems broken in how PT reads the Num Pad:
go to Keyboard Shortcuts
Activate "Search by Key"
Press Shift + some Num Pad keys
Result: keys 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0 and "Comma" are not recognized as Num Pad keys but standard cursor keys instead.
If you use other modifiers (Ctrl, Alt, Start) _without_ Shift (or no modifier) all the Num Pad keys are recognized properly.
(Tested on Windows)

So Shift + NP "Comma" is not read properly and cannot trigger the expected action.

Windows 10 and 2022.9. I too can't do .#. Shift .#. to get a selection between Markers. However, if I open the Marker List, click on one Marker in the List and then Shift+Click another Marker in the list, there will be a highlighted area on the Track my cursor is in between the two Markers.

I reported this Shift + Num Pad behavior as a bug, hope for a fix

"Edit selections can once again be extended to a marker using SHIFT and numeric keypad shortcuts (PT-291640)"

I'm not updating yet but maybe it's fixed?
