pro tools 10.3.8 inexplicably quitting too often

I'm currently working with a digi003 rack on a power mac pro tower on OS 10.8.5 using mostly pro tools 10.3.8. I for some reason updated my pro tools 11 yesterday to 11.2.1 (I figured that once all of my plugins safely update to pro tools 11 that I would be all up to date) But, since I have updated to 11.2.1, now when using PT 10.3.8 it crashes, quits, or interrupts for multiple different reasons. So many errors that most I haven't seen. Has anyone else had this problem? It's frustrating because I now can't even do anything in PT10....I am searching the threads and I see that no one else has this problem. Anyone know why this might be happening to me? Thank you

When you say "power mac pro" i guess you mean a intel Mac Pro and not a Power Mac G5 as they were called power mac,
