Mixing HD with core audio
I think the answer is no, but given PT 9's capability to run with core audio, can you now mix and match HD audio interfaces (like a 192) with core audio devices through USB/FW? My original line of thinking was using TDM cards for plug ins through something like the new SSL Nucleus- but the cards speak to the audio through the cables to the HD interfaces so I assume that is not possible as well? I guess I am answering my own question - but is it all HD cards and interfaces, or all core audio - not both?
