What's to figure out? Connect the mbox, install the drivers, start PT, go to I/O setup and hit default for each page (input, output, busses, etc.) and the interface should be available for use in PT.

Right the only difference here is that my speakers/monitors seem to play out sound. However, I am unable to control anything such as volume via the physical mbox and I am unsure why.

Please explain exactly how you have your system connected now - I'm confused. Did you connect the monitors speakers (they are powered monitors right?) to the output of the Mbox like I said? Did you go into OSX audio/MIDI setup and configure your Mac to output it's system sounds through the Mbox? Have you set up PT to work with the Mbox? Have you installed the proper drivers for the Mbox? Can you get system audio through the Mbox?

Have you read the manual on how to use the Mbox? That always helps.

I figured out the mbox issue.

But still the bounce out issue occurs. I'm going to play with the sample rates as i'm thinking that may be the problem.

I'll attempt to do a record to track as well see if theirs any difference.

So what was the Mbox issue you figured out? I doubt sample rates are your problem with the skips/scratches.

Did you try any of the things I asked you to try?

The mbox issue I resolved in the hardware launch settings. Toggling volumes and syncing the pro/mbox.

As far as recording all tracks to one single track, I have not attempted that yet. I am going to do so right now.

but it is bothering me that it just wont work as a bounce as I regularly have done so where it all of sudden wants to create skip scratch sounds.

Still haven't tried your method yet. But I bounced to .wav and seems to be tracking out fine with none of the skip and scratch in the background.

Its puzzling why all of a sudden bouncing to mp3 would do that.

I ended up DL'n a free converter... that will suffice for now until i have the energy to find out why thats occurring .

Thank you for your help in the meantime!

You are definitely running Pro Tools 10 right? No Pro Tools 11/12 also available? So no offline bounce available/you are doing all this real time.

What exact format are you trying to bounce to? At what sample rate, from what session sample rate? Maybe a screenshot of your bounce dialog would help.

If you are bouncing to mp3 that can involves more processing than bounce to wav, and maybe your computer is right on the edge of having problems and mp3 just puts it over. But I'm not sure why you would bounce to mp3 if clients want audio CDs or content to master to audio CD. Maybe I missed something.

Do you have "convert after bounce" checked for the bounce dialog? If not try that checked.

Do you have "ignore errors" checked in the playback engine dialog? *Uncheck* that and see if the computer throws AAE errors, and report exactly what ones.

Have you checked playback of those bounced files with glitches on other computers/other programs?

I'll run a diagnostics check on my system when I get a moment too.

I actually was able to find out the "skip/scratch" noise in the background after I had taken the bounced track and uploaded it to my soundcloud.

Even though I had listened to it prior to that once for a few seconds, I had not noticed it then until I had actually went back to the file and paid more attention on listening.

As far as sending screen shots, I will do so when I am at my studio/office and update you here later on in the night.
