Re: So whats the deal ???
If I'm not mistaken they announced the end of life for the 003 gear in 2011.
http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...t_new_software Q: Is Pro Tools 10 the last new software release for the original Pro Tools|HD hardware? A: Yes. Pro Tools 10 will be the final full version release to support Pro Tools|HD (TDM) hardware and legacy "Digidesign" audio interfaces, as we make our transition to a full 64-bit application. That said, we're offering fantastic deals to Pro Tools|HD customers to crossgrade to our new Pro Tools|HDX system, which offers up 5x more power than Pro Tools|HD, plus much more headroom for mixing and plug-in processing. As we move forward, please be aware of the following: Pro Tools 10 will be the final feature release for Pro Tools|HD TDM systems. Pro Tools 10 will be the final supported feature release for legacy Digidesign interfaces and controllers, including: 192 I/O, 192 Digital I/O, 96 I/O, 96i I/O, SYNC (original "blue"), SYNC HD (original "blue"), MIDI I/O, 003 family, Mbox 2 family, Control|24, Command|8, Pro Control Please note that we will continue to offer software updates and address issues for legacy hardware for the foreseeable future. |

Re: So whats the deal ???
003 controller working fine here with 9.x and 10 HD software. Never had a driver issue for the 003, but the FW driver can be a killer. While Avid recommends the Legacy driver, it never works for me(on either rig). The TI COmpliant driver works dandy. Word from a reliable source is that the 003 is very likely to work with PT11. Trust me....I'm a doctor

Re: So whats the deal ???
Haven't tried non-HD(don't have the iLok asset for it). Can't imagine why it would be different, but I guess you never know FWIW, I am running the same 003 driver I installed with the last version of 9 I was running(9.0.6 sucked so I went back to 9.0.3).

Re: So whats the deal ???
Hi Dism ...thanks for your time !
And for the question ...Yes i do have a Fast Track USB and the onboard Realtek audio ... The M-audio runs with its own audio driver AND with no issue at all even at 64 buffer size .. the same with the Realtek onboard audio with the Asio4ALL driver at 64 buffer size .. The only time that the DIGI003 dont make this issue is at 1024 buffersize and......this issue start since PT8 driver at least for me .. But im trying and hoping to find the cause in other part of my system with no luck since PT8 ... If you read this post you can see all i have done in troubleshooting and the person from Avid that tried to help me .. http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t...ghlight=jeam25 Any help will be apreciated ...!! Thanks !
