Default Pro Tools Won't Recognize My SIIG Firewire Express Card

I have this dual port SIIG Express Card...it was linking with Pro Tools just fine before I updated to 8.0.4. Now, the built-in (crappy) 4 pin firewire port will recognize my DIGI 003, but not the SIIG. What's up? The thing that really puzzles me, is that the SIIG card shows up perfect in device manager, and the 003 is showing as connected and properly working. Yet, when I attempt to open Pro Tools, it loads halfway and says "cannot find hardware." It's like there's some missing link that's not connecting them. I went to DigiRig and reinstalled the drivers again. No change. Is there some sort of setting in BIOS I need to mess with? Thanks for your help!

I might be calling it the wrong thing...I'm not at my audio computer right now, but the path is: My Computer>Program Files>Digidesign>Drivers>DigiRig?(or a name with "rig" in there somewhere>then I clicked the blue DIGI icon and reinstalled the drivers. I'm just not sure what I should do to get the Digi 003 and Pro Tools to talk to one another. The SIIG and Digi 003 show up as working perfectly in Device Manager. The Digi even shows up as visible in the "safely remove hardware" portion of the taskbar.

This is a known issue that apparently Avid is aware of. I have the same problem with my SIIG card, among other users here. The solution for now is to use your built in Firewire on the MB. Hopefully a future cs update can sort this out.
