Default PT6.7cs8 Recording Bug - Phantom full disk regions

For anyone it may help...
I've encountered a recording bug in PT6.7cs8 under OS01.3.8 on a G4HD3

If you are recording in quickpunch, when the recording is complete,
immediately following your region will be a "ghost" region that occupies the balance of the time available within the session;
regardless of rec time limits set in the prefs.

On the up side, the region is selectable and deletable.

On the down side, any accidental playback of that area will result in full scale dig noise followed by a kernel panic and the CPU puking its guts out.

The fix, of course, is to not be in quickpunch; and select your target record area.

Haven't tested the prob under 6.9 as yet...

I figured i'd post to help anyone else out that may have been puzzling over the issue.
