Pro Tools switching language - OS X?

Hi folks,


I'm using a scandinavian keyboard layout and language (Finnish), but for some reason Pro Tools decides to change the input language to english. This seems to happen when I close the song, and then open a new one using key commands. I have tried to disable all system-wide keyboard shortcuts (from Keyboard -> Shortcuts), and also in Pro Tools preferences "Auto-Switch Input Language" is off.


Small thing, but kinda driving me nuts. Any clues?


OS X Catalina (10.15.7.)
Pro Tools Ultimate 2021.7.0

PT only understands US keyboard. Shortcuts in finnish keyboard are a bit different. This may never be fixed.

If it bugs you too much, buy a dedicated Pro Tools Keyboard, there are a lot of varieties nowadays.

But still, why is there an option to disable "Auto Switch Input Language", when it does so? Baffled...
