It works very nice! except two little details:

- The tittle bar AND the menu bar both dissapear if "hide the tittle bar" is pressed.

- Edit and mix windows can not be resized after made borderless.

It is normal that you cannot resize edit/mix window that doesn’t have borders. Well borders exists because of that, so you can stretch windows from them. Other bugs, i am going to look into them. Thank you

Just tested Borderles Pro Tools for Windows v.02 (legacy color scheme) in Pro Tools 2020.5.0. Worked perfectly! I don't get why Avid hasn't implemented such features yet.

I've been using Borderless for a couple of weeks now and did find a couple of issues when using window configurations and hotkeys I've created. I know it's part of the development process so I'd like to keep contributing to it.

See, currently, I use different configurations adjusted to the two screens I work with. The issue occurs when switching between configurations; for instance, I usually switch between configs 2 and 3. That is, between having the edit and mix windows maximized on my bigger screen, respectively. Then, the only way around it – or at least the only one I've been bothered to figure – has been by reverting the borders and maximizing the windows again, which right away seemed too inefficient to do.

Now, the issue with using hotkeys occurs when hiding the menu bar – apparently AutoHotkey is not able to find it anymore . Although that may have to do more with my lack of scripting skills, the hotkeys work fine when the menu bar is shown. FYI, I use hotkeys to access instances in the menu bar that don't already have a shortcut assigned by pro tools (Preferences, Playback Engine, etc.). Interestingly, AutoHotkey can still find Pro Tools when hiding the title bar...

Anyway, I really think the first issue could be addressed in the next version since window configurations are widely used and wildly useful. BTW, now I'm only hiding the title bar. It's not a whole lot of space, yet I'm very pleased to see a couple more tracks shown down on the screen.

OMG! This **** actually changed my life! I hated going from Mac to Windows(School to Home) and how bad Pro Tools looks in Win comparatively to Mac.

Hey thanks for making this great tool! Just reporting a visual bug I didn't see mentioned here - when dragging plugins around to other inserts & sends, the yellow box indicating which slot it's being dragged to is incorrect. This changes depending on the window size of Pro Tools. Tested this on 2 different machines.

In both screenshots, I was moving D3 CL down 1 Insert.

Example 1, maximized window, 3440 x 1440

I assume there is nothing that can modify the plugin window borders for PT 2021?

I can confirm the above mentioned dragging plugins yellow rectangle bug on Win 11 / PT 2021.10

Also, I found out that when editing Automation Lanes in the Edit, it doesn't show the automation value at all, so I'm not using this for now (the plugin bug I could probably live with, but auto values I need to see). Still interested in any progress made though!

I want to use it but the bug that prevents dragging plug-ins around accurately is a killer. Anyone *not* encountering the bug? Maybe folks running in 1080 resolution?

Has anyone tried Skootch with recent versions of Pro Tools?

From my side I can confirm it works OK with ProTools HD10 and 12 on Windows 7 x64 PC. It works with various screen setups from single laptop display to 3 x QHD desktop displays. I really cannot imagine ProTools life without Skootch.

I paid for Skootch way back-in-the-day but damn if I can find the email exchange with Mr Nagy and he's gone dark.

It seemed to work better than than this free tool but back then I only used 1080 screens.
