Default Just an observation

At the time I wrote this, the first 9 post were people simply having problems getting PT running. In fact there were only 5 post on this entire page with other issues! This is not a good track record and enough to scare any nu-bee far away. There is still a lot of work to be done, I hope you're hard at work on a code re-write!

Keep in mind that most people who do not have problems will really have no reason at all to read or post on this forum.

Unless, like me and some others, they want to H.O.B.O. (help other brothers out).

I'm just sayin'...

These are support forums. Go to the Cubase support forums or Logic forums... same thing.

You're never going to find 9 posts in a row about how awesome PT is running in forums where people are looking for help.

Oh, but I have been to other forums, 90% of those are "how to new-bee" questions, not "can't install, won't load, blue screens, placing sound early, where are my plug'ins, etc etc..."
I'm not comparing apples to oranges, I AM comparing questions on other forums. In fact, I own several other DAWs and most of them download and you're off to the races in 5 minutes!

Yeah, I'm scared . . . I'm shakin' . . . I'm petrified . . . never been much on religion, but I sure nuff' just got down on my knees (Burton Cummings - lead singer from the Guess Who after he went cheese)

But . . . where else can ya get a DAW with a beat slicer like recycle, a drum machine as good as Strike, and the hope of Structure complete w/EW samples? There is depth to Pro Tools that you don't get in other DAWs . . . but, just like you, I wish it would work!

And with most other DAWs these aren't even an issue.

If only they offered a Pro Tools type workflow... then we really would have choices.
