Trouble with automatic punch in
I'm not able to use the automatic punch in feature of Pro Tools for some reason. When enable punch mode and select a section of a track where I'd like to punch in, the selection doesn't appear in the in and out points of the transport window. The punch in just happens wherever the cursor is. Manual punch is working fine. Can't find a video anywhere on-line that deals with this. Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Trouble with automatic punch in
You probably do not have Link Timeline and Edit Selection checked if you’re making the selection on the track

Re: Trouble with automatic punch in
Do you need to enable Pre-roll?
