Clipping/Distortion - Key input side chain with D3 CL
Hi There,
Wondering if someone could help me out. Trying to get some ducking working with some VO and track. Signal flow VO SEND>BUS 11 > SEND Key input on D3 CL. once I do this it just sounds distorted. Not sure what I've done wrong ....could be an easy fix.  I'm running the latest version of PT Thanks in advance

What is D3 CL? If its the stock compressor/limiter, try another compressor as that one stinks(specifically, it distorts). Even BF76 should sound better, if that's all you have

You could also try the Avid Channelstrip
