Cursor is now white instead of black in 2022.9

Sorry, realized if it's actually the cursor then a screenshot won't help! Perhaps try a QuickTime Screen Recording (video) or go old school... snap a pic/vid of your monitor. Thanks!

I tried out 2022.9 but it gives me a white cursor instead of black as normal.
If I go back to 2022.4 it's back to black.
I thought it might be the GUI colour settings but I don't see anything relating to the colour of the cursor.
Does anyone else see this behaviour or know how to fix it?

Windows 10 and 2022.9. My cursor is black on empty Tracks, white within Waveforms on a Track and black above and below the Waveform and all white in a highlighted area of a Track with or without a Waveform.

I just upgreaded to 2022.10 and "boom" white cursor! I'm on Catalina. Any fix for that ?

One thing i found interesting is when i go back to 2022.4 on my Catalina computer the cursor is back to black. When i go back to 2022.4 on my Monterey computer the cursor stays white (was black prior to the 2022.10 install on Monterey).

I took a screengrab of the white cursor on 2022.9 but there doesn't seem to be any way to put it on this forum, at least not that I can find.

I still have the same behaviour: 2022.9 white cursor, 2022.4 black cursor.

+1 on white cursor in 2022.10.... I'm on Monterey 12.6 on iMac Pro. dear Avid, as Amy Whinehouse said... please bring it 'back to black' :)

Below is a screenshot showing the white cursor (the cursor is to the left of the audio clip). This is on a Mac running 10.15.7 and Pro Tools Studio 2022.12.

I'm also experiencing the behavior where I click with the Trimmer, Selector and Grabber tools and the cursor turns into the pointer.

Ive uploaded a couple of videos to Dropbox which can be viewed at this link. They show the cursor behavior for PT 2022.10 on Mac OSX Monterey 12.6 and a second video for PT 2020.3 on Mac OSX Catalina 10.15.5

I have not yet tried on PT 2022.12 but from my readings, it appears to still be an issue... at least on Mac OSX Monterey.

Hope this helps getting the matter resolved. I personally prefer the 'old' look for my aging eyeballs

The color of the cursor changes depending on the color of the background. Make the background light and the cursor becomes gray or black.
