Midi still unsuable in 2024.10

Dear Avid.

This midi issue has come and gone over the years.
But now it's been here for quite a while.
The last version that worked was 2023.12
I can't believe how such an important part can be neglected over and over.
I, and several others, explained in detail what happens, and why this makes the midi unusable.
I even sent a session and video explaining.
But still to no avail.

In short:
If there's latency inducing plugins in the session, the midi will be recorded late.
In other words, it is UNUSABLE.
Can we please get to work on this immediately and get an update going?
It's embarrassing to have a non functioning Midi for a year!

I'm familiar with this bug inside and out, and I'm here to help and test in any way you need.
@Marianna, it would be beneficial for all of us, including Avid, to get this resolved once and for all.
And preferably now......
Do we need to create another ticket or how do we go about it?

Better to get more cases logged so they understand the severity.
