Yeah. Considering you can get Davinci Resolve for free, and it comes with Fairlight's audio mixing and processing (simple, but effective for smaller track counts) I don't really see that as a selling point any longer.

I still have to make an "ADC" aux bus to send instrument tracks to because they can't figure out how to compensate those...but yes please give me subpar plugins like synthcell and increase my price.

Guess they are getting what they want...now I'm gonna switch to subscription. Pro Tools Studio...

Why on earth is anyone talking about Pro Tools OR Reaper for video editing?! These are dAws! Get Da Vinci Resolve which is a) free and b) a video editor.

The significance of video for Ultimate is one thing only - multiple video tracks. That's it. For post-users, it's pretty much essential as you're always working with multiple cuts and patches.

I told you that I lack experience, but actually, I would like to have a video window as well, and for that, I have Reaper, where I can do everything I need. As for Ultimate, the only thing missing for me was the video part. Fortunately, I found out that Pro Tools isn’t particularly effective or strong in this area.

It’s not too much to ask to add a fade to black on a video recorded on my phone and to adjust the audio. But I have to use separate programs for this!? It’s not exactly ideal, but that’s how it is.

So to be clear - you can work with video in Studio. You don't need Ultimate for that. It's just you can have only one video track.

I don't want to put you off Pro Tools completely, but you may be better off with (free) DaVinci Resolve whose audio tools are pretty good, and you can add 3rd party plugins. Then add Pro Tools when you really want to get more deeply into audio. In PT you can replace the audio in an existing video (Bounce To Quicktime) which is a great feature.
